April 2004

Ben Folds, Guster, and Rufus Wainright are putting on a show at the Wolftrap in Vienna, VA June 29. Get ahold of me if you want to go, sounds extremely worth the cash.

42.0 mph, pleasant valley road. (that’s about 67.6 km/h for you canucks).

Well, well…. yeah. Summer started off cold and rainy, it knows my style well. Still haven’t heard anything from intermenno, but I’m not sure knowing my placement will make much of a difference… other than being able to tell the nice lady at EMU so I can get academic credits. I’m working half-time at a car dealership working on computers and their website (which I’m currently amidst redesigning). Anyone have any cool ideas for more work, or know anyone? I’d like to work for a photographer or something cool like that, but I’m pretty much open to anything for a little extra cash. peace.

well, tomorrow and it’s over. I have a presentation to give about an automatic olive-pitter that produces olives of equal volume no matter what their shape, and then a comp sci final. summer looks semi-uneventful, and I’m getting pretty restless to find out my placement for next year. Oh yeah, I posted some new landscape pics in the gallery I had scanned at king’s for an unlawful rate for my backpacking class final project. check it, peace.

the last week of classes is closing, with tests, finals and presentations still looming over me. like most of my peers, I typically work best under pressure… generally when I don’t have any other option but to study. conveniently, next week is TV Turnoff Week, something that I’ve taken part in since high school. since living at EMU, I probably haven’t watched more than an hour/week on average, there are other things to occupy my time… namely my bed. anyhow, peace.
